David Gogo: A major figure in Canada's blues scene, David is releasing his 14th album, Vicksburg Call. Apart from 14 albums, his prolific career also includes 5 Juno nominations and multiple Maple Blues Awards, not to mention thousands of tour miles! Catch David live at the Rainbow Bistro on Friday, 9 pm at 76 Murray St. in Ottawa.
Rise Ashen: Ottawa-based dj musician who likes to meld traditional world beats with progressive electro-pop melodies has been busy composing a soundtrack for a dance performance choreographed by Amelia Griffin. The piece titled Feelers is featured in TACTICS which is part of a series of independent local theatre productions taking place at the Arts Court Theatre. Amelia joins us in the studio to tell us more.
