Back in 1977, The Normals were anything but normal.  They were a seminal Canadian punk band based out of Montreal’s underground scene.  While the band had plenty of great ground-breaking material, in true punk style, they never officially recorded any of it until now!  Their new album, Now Music Now, finally dropped some thirty-odd years later, this September 2012. We will be speaking with the Normals’ songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, Rob Labelle.

The Normals will be at Zaphods next weekend, December 29 with Plunt and Fourstroke.

Craig Cardiff has been busy songwriting and performing for well over 15 years. Highly involved with the local community, he has played over 500 house concerts and alternate venues. His latest disc, called Floods and Fires, earned him a Juno nomination. He will be taking the stage at The Blacksheep Inn this weekend - both on Saturday and Sunday. But first he's coming to the CHUO studio to meet us and you are invited to eavesdrop!
