Babes4Breasts: The babes are back for their 7th annual benefit concert on Thursday, October 24 at Southminster United Church in the Glebe. There's a warm-up event on Tuesday, Oct 15 at the Royal Oak on Wellington Street. They are also releasing a 2013 compilation of our favorite Canadian artists. Mindil Beach Markets: In town for a gig at the Mercury Lounge tonight, MBM will be dropping by the CHUO studio for a quick chat and maybe a live performance showcasing their latest disc, It Might Take Long. We look forward to hearing about their cause, The Jellyfish Project, an environmental initiative focused on generating awareness among youth about the declining health of our world’s oceans and our environment at large.
